The 10th National Symposium on Control of Soil Degradation and Recovery (CONDEGRES24), organised by our partner, Universidad de Burgos, successfully concluded from June 24-27 in Burgos. The event gathered experts, researchers, and practitioners to discuss innovative solutions for soil degradation control and recovery.
A highlight was Marta Franco de Benito from IDENER presenting the BIOSYSMO Project’s advancements with her talk, “Bioremediation Systems Exploiting Synergies for Improved Removal of Mixed Pollutants,” and her poster, “Unificando Información para Avanzar en el Estudio de la Biorremediación del Suelo.” These presentations offered insights into leveraging synergies for enhanced bioremediation of complex pollutant mixtures.
Attendees also explored the dissemination corner, featuring projects like BIOSYSMO and SYMBIOREM. The corner provided a space for networking and learning about innovative approaches in soil remediation. BIOSYSMO USB sticks, containing detailed project information, were distributed to all participants.
The symposium was a great success, fostering collaboration and knowledge exchange in the field of soil degradation control and recovery, and highlighting significant progress made by key projects.
