On March 18, 2025, the BIOSYSMO consortium came together in the Netherlands for an engaging and productive General Assembly meeting, hosted by our project partners at TAUW Group.
This in-person gathering was a valuable opportunity for partners from across Europe to reconnect, share updates, and reflect on the progress made so far. Throughout the day, we focused on key aspects of the project’s development — from our computational tools to the design, optimisation, and practical application of advanced biosystems for environmental bioremediation.
Each partner contributed insights into their current work, and we took time to align on next steps, discuss upcoming deliverables, and coordinate our ongoing collaboration across different work packages. The discussions were constructive and energizing, reinforcing the shared vision and momentum of the BIOSYSMO project.
The day wrapped up with a hands-on demonstration of TAUW’s sampling equipment, giving attendees a closer look at the tools being used in the field. This was followed by a relaxed and enjoyable consortium dinner, where conversations continued in a more informal setting — strengthening connections and team spirit.
We’re excited to carry this energy into the next day, as BIOSYSMO joins forces with the MIBIREM project for a joint workshop focused on knowledge sharing and collaboration across initiatives.
