On 25 September 2026, EXELISIS IKE presented the BIOSYSMO Project at Researchers’ Night Greece, hosted by the National Technical University of Athens (NTUA) at its Zografou Campus.

The event provided an opportunity to introduce visitors to BIOSYSMO and its work on innovative bioremediation solutions for the restoration of polluted soils and water. Through discussions and educational activities, visitors could learn more about how microorganisms and biotechnology can contribute to addressing environmental pollution and supporting healthier ecosystems.

A particularly engaging part of the event was the strong interest shown by children and students visiting the BIOSYSMO stand. Younger visitors had the opportunity to explore and play with the project’s specially designed Kids Flyers and magazines, which present environmental science, soil health and bioremediation concepts in a simple and accessible way.

The educational materials encouraged children to interact with the project, ask questions and discover how scientific research can help address real environmental challenges. Students also showed interest in the project’s objectives and the research behind its bioremediation approaches, creating opportunities for informal discussions about science, sustainability and future environmental solutions.

Researchers’ Night offered BIOSYSMO an important opportunity to connect scientific research with the wider public while encouraging curiosity among younger generations. The enthusiasm of the children and students who visited the stand highlighted the value of making research accessible and engaging for audiences of all ages.

EXELISIS thanks everyone who visited the BIOSYSMO stand and took part in the activities, helping make the event an enjoyable and educational experience.
