  • ALL4BIOREM Cluster Workshop – Afternoon Session

As part of BioRemid 2026 – the 4th International Meeting on New Strategies in Bioremediation and Restoration Processes, the ALL4BIOREM Cluster Workshop will bring together leading researchers, project representatives, and environmental experts to discuss the latest advances, challenges, and future opportunities in bioremediation and ecosystem restoration.

The workshop programme has been designed to showcase innovative scientific developments while encouraging dialogue on how research outcomes can be translated into practical environmental solutions. Through a series of thematic sessions, participants will explore emerging technologies, successful implementation strategies, and new application areas that are helping shape the future of sustainable remediation.

The afternoon session will be structured around three key thematic blocks. The first will focus on innovations in bioremediation technologies, highlighting novel scientific approaches and technological developments aimed at addressing complex environmental contamination challenges. The second block will examine barriers and opportunities for implementation, discussing the steps required to successfully transfer remediation solutions from laboratory research to real-world field applications. The final block will explore expanding applications of bioremediation, including the development of bio-based materials and other innovative uses of biological systems that contribute to environmental sustainability and circular economy objectives.
