The BIOSYSMO Project is pleased to announce its participation in BioRemid 2026 – the 4th International Meeting on New Strategies in Bioremediation and Restoration Processes, where members of the ALL4BIOREM Cluster will organise a dedicated workshop focused on collaborative European research and innovation in environmental remediation.
As part of the conference programme, the workshop will include a series of Flash Project Presentations, offering participants a concise and engaging overview of ongoing EU-funded initiatives working on sustainable solutions for bioremediation, soil health, and water restoration. The session aims to encourage knowledge exchange, strengthen synergies between projects, and showcase innovative approaches addressing current environmental challenges.
The workshop will feature introductory presentations from project coordinators representing several key initiatives within the cluster, including:
- BIOSYSMO – presented by Sara Gil Guerrero Gil from IDENER.AI
- NYMPHE – presented by Giulio Zanaroli from the University of Bologna
- SYMBIOREM – presented by Leire Ruiz Rubio from EHU
Through these presentations, participants will gain insight into a range of scientific and technological approaches, including microbiome-based remediation strategies, sustainable restoration methodologies, and innovative biotechnological tools designed to support healthier ecosystems.
The workshop represents an important opportunity for researchers, stakeholders, and environmental professionals to connect with leading European projects and explore how collaborative research can contribute to more effective and sustainable remediation practices.
