  • Congratulations to ICCRAM – UBU on Receiving the 1st Prize for the Soil Health Project

The BIOSYSMO consortium is pleased to congratulate our partner ICCRAM – University of Burgos (UBU) for being awarded the 1st Prize by the Social Council of the University of Burgos in recognition of their outstanding work on the Soil Health Project.

This award highlights ICCRAM’s continued commitment to advancing research and innovation in the fields of soil health, environmental sustainability, and ecosystem restoration. The recognition reflects the impact of several collaborative European initiatives in which ICCRAM actively participates, including the BIOSYSMO Project, TRIBIOME, BIOREM, pHYBi, and other related projects focused on sustainable environmental solutions.

Through these initiatives, ICCRAM contributes to the development of nature-based and biotechnology-driven approaches aimed at improving soil quality, preserving microbial biodiversity, supporting sustainable agriculture, and restoring degraded ecosystems. Their work demonstrates how interdisciplinary research and collaboration can generate practical solutions to some of today’s most pressing environmental challenges.

This distinction represents an important acknowledgement of the value of collaborative research and serves as further motivation for all partners involved to continue advancing innovative strategies for healthier soils and more sustainable ecosystems.

We warmly congratulate the ICCRAM team on this well-deserved achievement and look forward to continuing our successful collaboration in future activities and projects.
