We’re excited to share that CIIMAR (Interdisciplinary Centre of Marine and Environmental Research) participated in a workshop on “The Importance of Phytoremediation and Bioremediation in Marine Biotechnology” at the BiotechLife 2023 event, hosted by the Escola Superior de Saúde do Porto on December 13th.
During the workshop, attendees engaged in insightful discussions on the transformative potential of phytoremediation and bioremediation in marine biotechnology. These techniques leverage the natural abilities of plants and microorganisms to remove or neutralise pollutants, promoting a cleaner and healthier environment.
