During CIIMAR‘s Open Day on September 17, 2023, the BIOSYSMO team had an excellent opportunity to engage with the public and share their enthusiasm for environmental restoration. The team introduced visitors to the fascinating realm of microorganisms with the unique ability to break down and eliminate contaminants from our surroundings.
People of all ages could participate in hands-on activities, observing CIIMAR scientists as they isolated these exceptional “Decontamination MicroNinjas,” primarily bacteria, renowned for their remediation skills. The event was a day brimming with discovery and inspiration!
