We are pleased to announce the participation of our partner, Universidad de Burgos (UBU), in the 7th International Symposium on Environmental Biotechnology and Engineering. This event, held from 22nd to 26th May in Marseille, France, served as a global platform for scholars and experts to exchange insights and advancements in the field.
Our colleague, Aqib Hassan Ali Khan, made significant contributions during the symposium by presenting a poster and delivering an oral presentation. These presentations focused on the outcomes of an extensive phytoremediation trial conducted by the UBU team, aligning directly with the objectives and scope of the BIOSYSMO Project.
The phytoremediation trial primarily centered around the extraction of heavy metals from contaminated groundwater. Through meticulous experimentation and analysis, the UBU team has made noteworthy progress in developing effective strategies for the removal of these hazardous substances. The findings presented by Aqib Hassan Ali Khan shed light on the team’s innovative approaches and their potential implications for environmental remediation.
We invite you to explore more about this exciting research and its implications by visiting here.
Our congratulations to Aqib Hassan Ali Khan and the entire UBU team for their exceptional contributions and commendable efforts in furthering the goals of the BIOSYSMO Project.
